GUARDSMAN FURNITURE PROTECTION PLAN
The Guardsman Furniture Protection Plan helps protect your new furniture from accidental stains or damage caused by you or someone in your home. Guardsman provides service for stain removal, repair, and replacement of irreparably damaged merchandise. This plan is not a warranty. Warranties cover manufacturer issues with the product. Typically, the damage associated with a warranty is caused by an issue with the design, workmanship, or quality of materials, and is not caused by the consumer.

CLEAN ACCIDENTAL STAINS SUCH AS…
Food/Beverage stains
Household stains-Ink stains
Lipstick, Nail Polish, Cosmetics
Human/Pet Bodily Fluids
**Pet damage is covered only once in the 5-year plan.
REPAIR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE SUCH AS…
Punctures, Rips, Cuts, Tears, and Burns in most leathers
Burns, Heat Marks, Scratches, and gauges in wood
Springs, Frames, and certain mechanisms
Guardsman offers a variety of protection plans. All plans are subject to limitations and exclusions.
AFTER PURCHASE AND FILING A CLAIM
Once you have your complete order delivered, you will receive an email, or letter in the mail, with your Guardsman Protection Plan information packet (make sure to check your spam folder if you have not received an email). If you need a service for a stain or damage during the plan period, simply call the toll-free number or file a claim on their website www.Guardsman.com within the reporting period indicated on your plan.
If you are filing a claim online…
If you file a claim using Guardsman Online Claim Form, simply complete the form online, print the form, then sign. After signing the form, also enclose a copy of your sales receipt, which is given to you at the time of the purchase and return it to Guardsman within 30 days.
**You can always call the store you purchased from to obtain a sales receipt if you do not have a copy!
Occasionally, we may ask you to provide photos of your stain or damage to enable us to provide you with the best solution for your claim. Upon receiving your claim form, Guardsman will review your claim. If your claim is eligible for service under the terms of the plan, Guardsman will contact you to provide service.
If you are filing a claim over the phone…
If you are calling Guardsman to file a claim, Guardsman will email or mail you a claim form that you will need to complete and sign. You will also need to enclose a copy of your sales receipt and send it to Guardsman within 30 days of your initial call.
